WHY DIDN’T THEY MAKE SPACESUITS? Some Pre-Kindergarten Thoughts During and After a Viewing of Georges Méliès 1902 A Trip to the Moon

"I can see that they're making a rocketship. A real, real rocketship."

"Oh my gosh, that looks SO scary."

"I think I was scared that the master got left behind on the moon."

"I would tell other kids to watch it, but only for 4 and older. It might scare a 3 year old. The alien parts were scary, and the part where the moon changes his face."

"My favorite part was when they were smashing the aliens because I don't like when spooky stuff is around."
